Remember this dress from my Instagram? I wore it to one of my best friend’s wedding two weeks ago in Houston and got a lot of compliments on it. The detailed lace cut outs and lining reminded me of Self Portrait silhouettes, except for one big difference… this dress is under $60! It runs a little big (ordered a small) and the color is more burgundy red in person. This feminine dress is partially lined so you feel sexy and look your best…while staying in appropriate wedding attire code, of course.
Onto the shoes…I think every girl needs a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. Even though they are a bit pricey, I believe that they are a good investment. I’ve been wanting a nude pair for the longest time, so my wonderful husband got them for me for my birthday this year. They are SO beautiful and sexy (I don’t ever use that word, but it’s the perfect word to describe them). I’m not going to sugarcoat the comfort of these heels…wearing them makes me want to die, lol. I wore them for maybe 10 minutes and my feet were in pain from the tall height of the heels (and because I didn’t break them in prior to, whoops!). I’m a 6 1/2 and ordered a 36.5, it’s very narrow at the bottom but my heel kept coming up with the 37. I knew that it would stretch over time, so that’s why I went with the 36.5. My suggestion for the So Kate would be to stay true to your size BUT if you have wide feet size up 1/2 a size.

I'm in love with this dress and red is such a beautiful color on you! I've been eyeing Louboutins for SO long, but have yet to make the purchase! I hear they can be painful lol but I know it would be worth it!

They are definitely painful, haha. I don't know what it is about them, but I still love them. I knew I had to have it and it was a great price, perfect for weddings or formal events.
