THE WARMEST SWEATER + VAIL TRAVEL GUIDE…

SWEATER: HM (love this one!) // LEGGINGS: BP // SHOES: Hunter // EARRINGS: Baublebar // SOCKS: Nordstrom // BEANIE: old (similar here) // LIP: Clinique
So, I am in LOVE with this sweater! I saw it on the HM site and knew that it would be perfect for Vail (and because Katy Perry was wearing it! lol ). It’s so thick and cozy AND less than $20…it would be a great gift for a sister, cousin, or best friend.
I apologize in advance if all I wear are hunter boots… I don’t know what I would do without them. I feel as if I can conquer the world in them. Being able to walk (or in my case run or jump) in rain or snow without having to worry about ruining your shoes has got to be one of the best feelings ever! The weather socks that I’m wearing (not pictured) are really great if you’re needing thick socks.
Tommy and I decided that we wanted to celebrate Christmas with just our little family, so tomorrow night we are going to open gifts, watch a Christmas movie, drink hot chocolate, and drive around the neighborhood. What are your plans for Christmas?
VAIL TRAVEL GUIDE
*attempt at a family photo, Liam is clearly not having it, lol*
PLACES TO STAY:
Vail Racquet Club: We stayed here, it was located about 10 minutes away from the ski resort and villages. They have shuttles that run every hour, which is very convienent if you aren’t comfortable with driving in the snow. Our room had a full size living room, kitchen, bedroom, and fireplace… it felt very homey. Our room was in the back and we had a beautiful view of the mountains and trees.
Vail Cascade Resort and Spa: This hotel is right in the middle of Vail Village. I’ve always heard positive things about this hotel. You can see the ski lifts, town, and mountain from this hotel…all really amazing views.
PLACES TO EAT:
Bart & Yetis: It’s a small burger restaurant located in Lionshead Village…a pleasant place to get a quick bite to eat.
Pazzo’s Pizzeria: This place is DELICIOUS!!! They have a combo appetizer platter that consists of wings, chicken tenders, cheese sticks, and jalapeƱo poppers! I highly recommend getting the Spinach Manicotti.

ACTIVITIES:
Vail Village: This village has tons of places to shop and eat. They hold many festivals throughout the year…we actually saw a band play without realizing that there was a music festival going on that weekend. They turn on the lights at night, it’s a beautiful place to walk around.
Lionshead Village: This place is located next to Vail Village and they have a couple of cute little ski stores, bakeries, and small places to eat.
Gondola ride: We didn’t do this, but Vail offers scenic rides to the top of the mountain.
Covered Bridge Store: This isn’t an actual store; it’s a pretty cool covered bridge that is located in Vail Village. There are small shops and coffee places that surround it.

Annie
