3 WAYS TO STYLE DRESSES IN THE WINTER…

DRESS: Express (love this one!)// SHOES: UGG // SCARF: Lands Downunder // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BAG: Gucci
Today, I’m sharing 3 ways to style your dresses for the winter. Regardless of how hot or cold the weather is, I will never give up wearing dresses. I still favor them during the winter because I don’t have to go through the hassel of carrying my coat or striping off layers every time I walk into a building or home.
My first styling tip is specially for sweater dresses..I gravitate towards sweater dresses because they are knitted and soft. I love wearing them with a pair of knee or thigh high boots to keep my legs warm and a scarf (like today’s outfit). Hunter boots would also look really cute with this outfit! For a pleated or more formal dress (like this one), a pair of thick black tights and black pumps would look really pretty and classic for the holidays. Here is a look from my first winter blog post last year that I styled using these tips. My last styling tip for wearing dresses during extreme cold weathers (any type of dress would work) would be to layer and layer. Adding a warm parka jacket, blanket scarf, beanie, and a pair of boots (add tights if you’re wearing booties), will definitely keep you warm and trendy during the winter.
I can’t believe Christmas is in 10 days! I went to Target yesterday and I almost froze to death walking to the store. Tommy and I have been Christmas shopping so much this month. We went a little crazy on Liam’s presents this year. I’m pretty sure he has over 20 gifts…meanwhile we have none, lol. We’re celebrating Christmas this Saturday with just our little family before we fly out. I can’t wait for him to rip open all of his presents. He paces really fast when he’s overwhelmed with excitement and it’s the sweetest thing! My family means everything to me, I love them so much! I’ll be posting videos on my snapchat that morning @anniemescall.
Thank you so much for reading!
