ACCESSARIES THAT WILL LAST ALL SPRING LONG…

DRESS: Red Dress (love this one too) // SHOES: Marc Fisher (similar here) // BAG: Red Dress // CHLOE- Dress: Zara (old) // SHOES: Freshly Picked
Hi everyone! I know it has been a while. Geez, this is my first blog post this week. I’ve been stuck in a rut where I didn’t know what to write about or have any to share with yall. Maybe it’s this gloomy weather in Houston or the booked up schedule I have. It has been raining for almost 2 weeks in a row so it has been hard to create content. I’ve probably spent less than 1 hour at my house everyday this week. It has been crazy.
Anyways, this outfit is one of my first spring outfits I wore out and I LOVE it. The pale mint color is so pretty and this straw bag has been on my wishlist for over a year. I’m not going to lie, when I first put this dress on it wasn’t that flattering, it was too big on me. I learned a trick for longer length dresses and that’s to tighten the waste drawstring or tie a belt around your waist then roll extra fabric behind the drawstring/belt. It changes the entire look and if you’re short, this tip is life changing.
When it comes to planning spring outfits, I know that a pair of sandals and a straw bag can go a LONG way. There probably the only accessaries you need. I’ve had these platform wedges for 3 years and they’re still going strong. They’re worth every penny. When investing in items that are $100+, I try to find an item that I’ll have for at least 2 years.
I’ve also had my eye on this bag for years as well but this version is much cheaper than the ones I’ve seen online. I personally love straw bags. They look clean and are refreshing. I usually get one or two bags per season and I’m set.  There is no doubt that you’ll be able to throw these two spring accessaries with all of your outfits and be set!
Chloe is popping in for this blog post because I had to share that sweet face of hers!
Thank you for stopping by!
Best,
Annie
