STEAMBOAT SPRINGS TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS…
PLACES TO STAY:

We loved our stay at The Village at Steamboat. It was right across the mountain, they had every thing you would want (hot tub, sauna, tennis court, shuttle, etc). My favorite part about this location was that there were huge areas of snow that you could play and go sledding in; it was actually located right outside our building near the Sports Authority.
PLACES TO EAT:
We cooked majority of the time but we went to a really great pizza dinner in the town called Beau Jo’s, their pastas are delicious and fresh.
We also ate at Gondola Pub & Grill, it’s located right at the ski lift. They are really known for their burgers and fries.
THINGS TO DO:
It was our first time skiing so my siblings and some of our friends got beginners lessons. Tommy on the other hand has been skiing when he was 5 so he didn’t “need” them and went straight to the black diamond slope (the very top slope) and I almost had a heart attack! Also, they don’t have these prices online but if you’re a beginner or would only like to ski at night it only cost about $35!
We went tubing at Saddleback Ranch on our last day, I actually got stuck in the snow on the way…it was terrifying. I highly recommend taking the shuttles that they offer. We only went tubing but they offer tons of activities like sleigh rides and snowmobiles.
I hope my insight was helpful!

Annie
