I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day. We’re flying back home today and I’m ready to sleep in my own bed and get some work done. We’ve been in Anaheim/San Diego for about a week and I really enjoyed our time here. When we visit, we usually stay about 3 nights. This time, we stayed 6 nights and it was so much for relaxing. I didn’t feel rushed to do everything and we even had a free day to explore LA yesterday. The weather here has been unbelievable, it was sunny most of the time and it feel amazing. I didn’t realize how cold it got at night so I made sure to pack a jacket and some sweatpants for the kids. To be honest, going to Disneyland when it’s a little chilly is much more enjoyable than going when it’s 100 degrees.
We visited Newport Beach the other day and it’s basically what I imagined California would be like growing up. It’s clean, white, and refreshing. Los Angelos is a little grungy and a little too high maintenance for me. The vibes there are a little more casual/hipster in my opinion. I’ve had this jumpsuit all month because I was saving it for this trip. Houston is a little too hot right now to be wearing anything past your knees so I knew this would be an outfit for my California trip. I’ve shared this jumpsuit before, but in pink. There are a few differences but basically the same jumpsuit over. I tend to gravitate towards jumpsuits more because there easy to dress up and easy to wear casually. I swear by these heels because they’re so comfortable and the perfect neutral. To style this jumpsuit or any summer jumpsuit casually, add a pair of flat sandals and a cute straw hat.
My flight is 6 hours long and then I have to drive an hour after I land..it’ll just be me and the kids. Wish me luck because I’ll need it!
Thank you so much for reading!
