This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.
For those you that grew up going to Chuck E. Cheese, remember how excited you would get walking through those doors and seeing the endless numbers of games and seeing Chuck E. come out to dance and throw tickets? I lived in California for the first 5 years of my life and majority of my memories were at Chuck E. Cheese. Fast forward 20+ years to where we are today and Chuck E. Cheese has a brand new look, atmosphere, games. My family and I attended the Grand Re-Opening of the Chuck E. Cheese Copperfield, Tx location last week and we had such a fun time. I was amazed at the new floor plans. The floors had lights wood, the sitting booths have been revamped, the space felt very open and well lit, and they took away the machine characters. A big focus on the new remodels for this store and other stores that they’re remodeling is that they want Chuck E. to be more interactive. They want children to interactive with each other and Chuck E. They also built this light up dance board that you see Chloe playing on in the pictures above.
Our family tries to go to Chuck E. Cheese at least every other week. It’s such a fun and easy place to play game, eat delicious pizza and salad (which is all made from scratch), and win tickets. They also offer an “all you can play” pass which is timed. With Liam, he’ll go around to every game swiping his card and before we know it, he’s out of points. With the “all you can play pass”, he has an hour of endless number of games. Chloe was loving all of the slower rides, she at that age where she enjoys doing things like going to Chuck E. Cheese. I would say that the kids favorite part is seeing what prizes they can get with their tickets, Chuck E. Cheese is the only place that allows you to actually purchase the prizes. It’s a penny per ticket. I always take advantage of this because when we’re short 40/50 tickets I can easy purchase the prize instead of having Liam get disappointed or possibly cry.
Summer is coming to an end but I always try to treat my children when they’re doing well in school. Liam starts in one week and he’s so excited to start his first day or Pre-K. I think keeping a school/daily life balance is important for us because we both get a break. I get a break when they’re in school and the kids get a break when they’re back with me doing fun things. I made this board at home where they can earn trips to Chuck E. Cheese. They have to get 10 tally marks (from either doing great in school, behaving well, daily kind things, ect) and then I take them on a trip. It has been working really well for us and I hope it sticks.
Thank you so much for reading!
