Palm print tops, skirts, wallpaper, and decor became everyones obsession years ago. For some reason, I’m now realizing how refreshing and summery this print is. I went on a little palm print shopping bing and bought tops, dresses, and even home decor. The leaves remind me of a tropical escape. I bought my top last year at a boutique but I linked lots of other options that I love as well.
Yesterday was by far the best Mother’s Day I’ve ever had. Tommy took us all out to brunch at Over Easy (the best brunch place in our city) and I had a feast. They have a bloody mary bar and I devoured all the bacon, lol. We went shopping around the area after and Tommy found a pair of Ray-bans that really liked. When Liam went down for his nap, my sister and I headed out to the outdoor mall for a little retail therapy. I ended up getting 6 huge picture frames from Pottery Barn to hang above sofa. Tommy ended up treating me to a little spa day. I had the most comfortable leg massager, ever. I rarely ever go and get pedis, but now that I’m on my feet for 40+ hours a week, it’s MUCH NEEDED. We didn’t have set plans for Mother’s Day, but it ended up being pretty amazing.
Today is actually mine and Tommy’s 2nd marriage anniversary. Unfortunately, we both work so we’re going to have to celebrate this weekend. I don’t know what I would do without him. He’s the best Dad to Liam and he loves me unconditionally. These past two years have had its ups and downs, but we continue to stay strong together. What more can I ask for in a husband?!
