It’s surreal that it’s already October! That means that I’ve been living in Colorado for almost a whole year. I feel like I barely just moved here. The best part about living in Colorado is definitely the weather. Cold weather has officially arrived so our family is seizing every opportunity to do all things fall. Yesterday, we went apple picking for the first time and it was actually pretty fun. I had never seen an apple tree before, so to see tons of small and large apples all over the place was pretty cool. Liam was having the time of his life too. He was a little nervous at first but once he saw apples that he could pick, there was no stopping him. He kept calling them bubbles at first but later on saw that they were apples. We probably tried to leave twice, but he kept pointing to all the green apples in the back that were at the perfect height level for him to grab.
I know that overview of our Sunday family day was totally not on topic for today’s post but I just had to share. Onto today’s outfit…this thermal. I’d bought a Free People thermal last year and it was all I wore. I snagged this one last month when it was price matched and love it! I’m wearing a size small but I probably could have gotten an XS because the length is pretty long. The first time I wore it, I actually wore it with my zella leggings and sneakers running errands. Even though it’s a thermal, it can easily be dressed up like how I did with jeans and booties. You can add a moto jacket or cardigan for an even more elevated look. It’s honestly so comfortable and great for layering when winter arrives.
