DRESS: Free People (love this one) // SHOES: Target // BAG: Henri Bendel (old, similar here)// NECKLACE: Kendra Scott
If yall didn’t already know, velvet is back and I for one love it. I was born in the 90’s when velvet was super popular but I don’t remember wearing it so I thought I’d try the trend out. What I’ve noticed about velvet, is that the material itself, gives an elevated look. Which is perfect for all the holidays coming up. Red velvet just screams Christmas! I gravitate towards simple and basic velvet pieces because I was testing it out. This shift dress is really so simple but has that flare with the back detailing. I styled it with black booties for that dark halloween look. I also wore it with some nude pumps for a more classic look.
Can yall believe that there’s only 1 more day until Halloween?! Did yall do anything fun for halloween this past weekend? I went downtown with my friends for the first time in over 2 years and it was so much fun. I’m definitely way too old to go out often so it might just be an every other year thing, lol. Plus, I’m that mom that’s overly attached to her baby.
Thank you much for stopping by!

Annie
