CARDS: Basic Invite
Before social media was in this world, sharing the news of your newest family member was through cards. I personally love receiving cards. Whether it’s a graduation, engagement, or new baby announcement, there’s something special about receiving a card from your dear friends or family members.
I ordered these birth announcements off of Basic Invite and I absolutely love how they turned out. I was able to customize colors, size, and printing options. Foil cards have always been a favorite of mine so I knew I wanted Chloe’s cards to have some foil details. I wanted to also share our family as a whole so I added a few more pictures on the back to personalize it. It was hard choosing which pictures to add to the cards but I’m glad I was able to choose multiples. When I ordered these cards I was amazed at the address capturing service. You can share a link on your social media accounts to request for your friends addresses then Basic Invite stores them and prints them onto the envelope! I was able to get everyone’s addresses printed beforehand. It made it so much easier for me and saved a lot of time. There have been multiple times where I’ve gone online to create cards but stopped half way because there weren’t enough designs or customization. With Basic Invite, it was extremely easy and I got exactly what I wanted. The holidays are right around the corner so I’ve already started to plan out some Christmas cards too!
I kept a card for Chloe’s photo album and looking back, she has already changed so much. She’s two months now and growing so fast. As a parent, I don’t think you’ll ever stop feeling that your children are growing up way too fast.
