It’s Friday! I can’t believe I’m on a few days away from my trip back to Los Angeles and San Diego. Life has been pretty crazy lately. I’ve been driving to Houston every weekend and it’s pretty exhausted. Thankfully, my children do really well in car rides. Tommy and I had our marriage anniversary this past Wednesday and it didn’t turn out how we expected. This was our first year being in the same place during our anniversary so ideally, we had hopes to at least go to dinner. Instead, I drove in from Houston, got to Killeen at 5pm, and then had frozen pizza, lol. We were completely happy with how the day turned out because we expected it. We don’t have any family here and haven’t had time to build friendships. We’re hoping to have plans this weekend, even if it’s for a couple of hours.
I was looking online for a date night outfit and I felt completely lost. I haven’t been on a “date night” with Tommy in YEARS! I knew I wanted something that was a little “sexy” and flattering. This dress was originally sold out but when it came back in stock, I knew it was a sign. When I put it on, I immediately fell in love because it made me feel sexy and confident. Just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t put on a lace mini dress with heels! I’m wearing a small and it fits well on me. It’s not too tight, which I appreciate. We’re in Austin this weekend so if anyone has any date night recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
