10 DATE IDEAS TO DO AT HOME

I can understand why people always say to married couples, “date your spouse”. Tommy and I may see each other day in and day out but it doesn’t mean we’re spending quality time together. Between all the children being at home, Tommy being a full-time student, and me working, we always have our hands full. There should be more than 24 hours in a day for sure!

Tommy and I made it a goal to do something with each other at least once a week. Whether that’s having a spa night or movie night, we love having that quality time with each other. Even if it is 2 or 3 hours a week. What we’ve really enjoyed lately is cooking something new together. When it comes to cooking, my skills would be ranked a 3 out of 10. Tommy is much more skilled at cooking, I’ll admit. My go to dishes are usually salads and ramen (my favorite one, here) and Tommy will make anything that pops in his head.

For our cooking date nights we will look at a random recipe online at the beginning of the week and add the ingredients to our Walmart+ order. We’ve been Walmart+ members since last year and it has been such a convenience. You can become a Walmart+ member too for $98 a year or $12.95 a month. You can try it out a 15 day trial too! As a Walmart+ member, you get free next day and two day shipping on items from Walmart.com (with no order minimum), save  5¢ per gallon, and shop with our phones with Mobile Scan and Go. Our groceries are delivered from our closest store and whether we’re cooking an Italian or Asian dish, we’re always able to find the ingredients needed.  If we’re having our date night on the weekend, we’ll have a glass of wine to fancy things up. Sign up to be a Walmart+ member here.

We came up with a date night list that I want to share with yall. We haven’t done all of these but plan on doing them next month!
